I came to Pyramid Sound after completing a Bachelor of Music in Sound Recording at Ithaca College. While at Ithaca, I stayed busy recording albums for regional bands and artists as well as working on various projects ranging from orchestral recording to beat making. In addition, I spent some time assisting in various studios on both the West and East coasts under the guidance of such engineers and producers as Brian Dozoretz, Cookie Marenco, Alex Perialas and Michael Rosen. A classically trained cellist from the age of 5, I can also help to arrange your music and supply charts.
I've always been a firm believer that the tonal benefits of analogue far outweigh the ease of digital, and will always be there to make your music sound as good as it can in the most natural way. At the same time, I like to maintain a very creative state of mind and atmosphere accompanied with unique and unconventional production choices. While a good song is a must, well thought out and executed production can really make for a special experience for the listener.
"I think that in a good studio with a good engineer you can get all the attractive elements of lo-fi, that is an honest and natural recording, and still have it be hi-fi. That's what I strive for."
